I've been thinking a lot about the role of young adults getting involved in serious crimes. Lacey Ann Horsley is only 18, yet she's already facing a future that's been drastically altered because of her alleged involvement in these tragic events. It's difficult to comprehend how someone so young could be wrapped up in something as serious as this. Was it peer pressure? Poor judgment? It's so important for communities to come together to provide guidance and support to young people to help prevent them from being drawn into such dark paths. My thoughts go out to the families and friends of Chad Wayne Ashford and Audrey Elaine Hudgins Mowrar; I can't imagine the pain they're going through. Hoping the judicial process can bring some sense of justice and closure to everyone impacted.
