It's truly devastating to think about what Juan's family and friends must be going through right now. I was reading about the courage he showed during that terrifying moment when he was just on a video call, minding his own business, and suddenly thrust into a life-or-death situation. The fact that he tried to resist and protect his vehicle only to face such a tragic end speaks volumes about his character. It also makes you wonder about the state of our communities when such violence is seen as a means to an end. My heart goes out to his loved ones who have to process this senseless loss while seeking justice for Juan. The neighborhood might never feel the same again, knowing something so violent occurred right outside people's homes. Just hoping the justice system does its thing and brings some peace to the community.
