Hey everyone, just wanted to share a thought that's been on my mind regarding the tragic loss of Captain Thomas Patrick Weidle. It seems like he was a well-respected individual, both in his military career and within his community. I keep thinking about the immense void his passing must be leaving with his family, friends, and his unit. It’s heavy knowing they're all grappling with such a sudden loss. One thing that's really been nagging me is the location where Ashlynn Blair waited for the deputies. I find it odd that after such an intense event, she chose to drive to a public space like the Giant supermarket parking lot. Perhaps she needed to be somewhere crowded, a place she felt she could immediately find help or witnesses? Or maybe she was just in shock and went to a familiar spot without really thinking it through. It does raise questions about her state of mind right after the incident. I hope more information comes to light about what led to this confrontation. In the meantime, sending supportive thoughts to Thomas's loved ones. No one should endure this kind of pain.
