This case is so terribly sad and has been on my mind a lot lately. I just found out that Jamie Lee Ray was planning to start a new job next month. She'd been so excited about this fresh start and had even shared it with her friends on social media. To think that she never got the chance to take this next step is just devastating. It's hard not to feel angry about how senseless this violence is. Sending love to everyone touched by this tragedy.
I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on those who knew and loved Jamie, Darcey, and little Alexia. It's unimaginable to lose three beloved family members in such a senseless way. I read that friends and neighbors have been deeply affected, often gathering to share stories and comfort each other at the local community center. They described Jamie as someone who was always there to lend a hand, and it seems like she left a lasting impression on those around her with her kindness.
The vigil they held must have been incredibly emotional, yet a necessary step for healing. It's good to see the community come together, even amidst such horror.
