I can't stop thinking about the community memorial listings for Lourdes Urrieta. It's so moving to see how a community comes together in the face of such a tragic incident. It really hit home to see her name listed among those lost to gun violence. Knowing that Lourdes and her family won't be forgotten gives a bit of comfort, especially with everything else feeling so incomprehensible. It’s a stark reminder of how suddenly lives can change. I truly hope the Urrieta family feels the support and love from not just their local community but from all of us who have been touched by their story. Sending my condolences to everyone affected by this tragedy.
I can’t stop thinking about the impact on the neighbors and community in the aftermath of what happened to Lourdes and Jose Urrieta. I’ve heard from a couple of people in El Paso who shared that their community is struggling to process this and rally around one another for support.
