I was struck by how quickly a normal night could turn into something so tragic for Kiersten and her loved ones. She was just trying to be a good neighbor and handle a situation with some civility. It's incredibly sad that something as simple as asking to lower music escalated to gun violence. My thoughts are with Kiersten's family and friends during this incredibly tough time. It must be so hard not having the closure that typically comes from a trial. Having unanswered questions after such an enormous loss just adds layers to the tragedy. Does anyone know if there is a community initiative or anything being done in Portsmouth to address neighborhood relations to prevent something like this from happening again?
