Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Miguel Angel Lara Guizar's tragic death, and I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on the community of Mattawa. It's so incredibly sad to see such a young life taken away in an instant. What's really unsettling is how this kind of violence disrupts the sense of safety in places as familiar and cherished as a local park. Hund Memorial Park must hold so many memories for those who live nearby. I keep wondering how the kids who were playing basketball with Miguel are coping with all of this. They must be traumatized by witnessing something so horrific. It's important that they get the support they need, both now and in the long-term, to process what happened. I hope the community can come together to heal and support each other in this difficult time. Are there any local resources or gatherings being organized to help residents and friends of the victim? It'd be reassuring to know there's a network of support for everyone affected. Sending lots of love and strength to Miguel's family and friends.
