It's so tragic to hear about what happened to Cornelius "DJ" Otis Jr. at the Caché 42 parking lot. My heart truly goes out to his family and friends who are dealing with such an unimaginable loss. I've been trying to wrap my head around the situation and I'm puzzled by how these events unfold, especially on such a busy night with so many people around. Like, why do some individuals resort to violence when there are usually peaceful ways to resolve conflicts? DJ had his entire life ahead of him, and it's just devastating to know it was cut short in such a senseless way. I'm also curious about how the community is handling the aftermath. Has there been any increase in security or community outreach following the arrest of Jerod Lawson? It seems like events like these should prompt a larger conversation on safety and prevention. I hope for some justice and peace for DJ’s loved ones in the days to come. If anyone's from that area, does the location have a reputation, or was this truly a one-off tragic incident? Any insights or local updates would be appreciated.
