Has anyone else been thinking about the role that long-term stress can play in situations like the tragic deaths of Madeline and Henry Roberts? From what the family shared, it sounds like they were facing a lot on their plates—medical issues, financial problems. It makes me wonder how much that persistent pressure might push someone over the edge, even if they seem like inseparable partners to the outside world. It's so hard to imagine things turning so dark, especially for a couple who've been through thick and thin together. I wish more resources were out there for couples dealing with overwhelming circumstances before things get to such a critical point.
