I’ve been thinking a lot about the role Edith Chinethia Williams played in this tragic event. How does a 46-year-old woman find herself involved in something so violent and destructive? It’s baffling to me, especially when she reportedly had minors in her car at the time. The charges against her are serious, and it makes me wonder what led to that moment outside Young’s Convenience Store. It’s terrifying to think that something like this could involve multiple age groups and disrupt so many lives. My thoughts go out to Kenston Carolina Jr.’s family and friends—navigating this loss must be incredibly tough. I hope justice is served, and the community can find some peace moving forward.
