I’ve been following the case from a distance, and I can’t get over how important it is for the community to rally together. Montarious McCray’s arrest was a significant step, but it’s clear from police statements that the investigation is far from over. There are still others out there who need to be held accountable for taking these young lives. I feel for the families of Edwin Cooper and Mycheal Edwards-Wallace. They’re not just statistics; they’re someone’s sons, brothers, friends. It’s so important we don’t lose sight of that human aspect in the whirlwind of legal proceedings and police updates. I hope this post serves as a reminder that our conversations should always be mindful and centered around truth and justice for them. Also, if you’re in the Kingstree area and know something, please contact the authorities. Sharing information might seem minor, but it could lead to real changes and help bring peace to grieving families. Let’s keep discussing what we can do to support both the investigation and each other.
