I can't stop thinking about Alyssa's dog, Max. From what I've read and heard, he was her constant companion, always there with her after long days at the lab. It's unfathomable to think of him waiting for her at home, not understanding why she hasn't come back. Pets are such innocent parties in these tragic events, and my heart goes out to her family. I hope they’re able to take care of Max and that he finds some comfort in being around her loved ones. Pets can be a source of healing, and I imagine Alyssa would want him to be loved and cared for now more than ever.
