Does anyone else find it odd that the area around Woodlawn Cemetery was apparently one of the hardest hit by the flooding, yet Brown Maxwell was last seen there? I’ve been following this case, and I can’t stop wondering if maybe the flooding altered the terrain more than we realize. Could the severe damage have potentially buried or moved evidence that might have indicated where he went? It seems like such a challenging environment to conduct a search right after a severe storm like Hurricane Irene. I’m curious if any geological surveys or terrain mapping were done afterward to see just how much the landscape changed in the days or weeks following the flood. Any local folks remember hearing anything along those lines?

I don't think we can overstate the impact of those 2011 floods on search efforts. I'm curious if there were any other missing persons reported around the same time from the Rochester area. It seems like the chaos and damage from Hurricane Irene might have led to more people being unaccounted for, not just Brown Maxwell. Has anyone looked into whether any similar cases were reported? I wonder if there are patterns or connections that could provide additional clues about what happened to him. It's so frustrating when natural disasters bring everything to a standstill, and people like Maxwell end up lost in the confusion.
