I’ve been following this case closely since it first broke, and it’s just so sad to think about Eddie's family and friends who have to navigate through this terrible time. Something that really strikes me is the location where Eddie was found. From what we know, he didn't even live at that house. Why was he there at that hour? It makes me wonder if he was meeting someone he knew or if there’s more context to why that specific place. Everyone assumes home is a safe place, and yet his life was tragically taken away in someone else’s home. My heart really goes out to the community of Dobbins Heights as well—they’ve lost one of their own, and now they have to grapple with the impact of this violence in their midst.
