I've been following the case of Zakiyah Ali, and one aspect that's been sticking with me is how often violence seems to erupt after heated disputes, like what reportedly happened between her and Jerry Williams. It's such a sobering reminder of how quickly an argument can escalate into irreversible tragedy. It hurts to think of how this has impacted Zakiyah's loved ones. Knowing that someone you care about was lost in such a senseless way must be beyond devastating. Does anyone else feel like there needs to be more intervention or support systems in place to prevent domestic disputes from escalating to this level? It's unnerving to see yet another incident with such a tragic end, and I wonder how we can better protect people from violence.
