The situation surrounding Labreya Street's tragic death is unfortunately another reminder of how quickly family gatherings can turn into unimaginable tragedies. What's been on my mind is the presence of Labreya's son during the incident. It's hard enough to process the loss of someone you care about, let alone witness such a traumatic event at a young age. I can't stop thinking about how he must be coping right now, trying to make sense of everything that happened. The fact that he was able to identify the shooter shows incredible bravery under such circumstances. I really hope he is getting all the support and care he needs from family and professionals. My heart goes out to Labreya’s family and especially to her son, who now faces the daunting task of healing from this horrific experience.

I can't stop thinking about Labreya's young son and the unimaginable trauma he's enduring from witnessing such a tragic event. It's so devastating to think about the pain he must be going through after losing his mom in such a brutal way. I hope he has a strong support system around him to help navigate this incredibly difficult time. It’s a reminder of how important it is to offer our compassion and support to families affected by violence. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved Labreya. Is there any way we can come together as a community to support her son? Does anyone have any information on organizations or resources that might provide assistance to him or any other affected family members?
