Does anyone else find it puzzling that despite all the advancements in forensic technology, Walter Lyman’s case remains unsolved? It's almost as if the investigation hit a wall early on that even modern techniques can't breach. I’ve been following this case for years, and every time it’s revisited, I hold my breath hoping for answers that never come.
Lyman was known as a dedicated public servant, and the idea that someone could have targeted him in such a brutal way is chilling. The fact that he was so respected in the community makes it seem even more baffling – who would have had such a vendetta against him, and why? It’s tough to grasp that these questions have been hanging over his family and the town for nearly 50 years without any resolution. I can’t even imagine what it’s like for them, not knowing why or who.
As citizens who care about justice, I think it's crucial that we keep discussing and spreading awareness about Walter’s story. It’s a small gesture, but the more people know, the better the chances that someone might remember something or feel compelled to come forward. Raymond hasn’t forgotten, and I hope someday soon, there are answers for Walter and his family.
