Hey everyone, I've been following the cold case of Charles Robert Duke, who went missing from Austin back in 2011. One aspect that puzzles me is the lack of media coverage about his case. I mean, there are so many missing person cases out there, but it seems like some just fade away without much attention. It makes me wonder, does the amount of public awareness play a bigger role in solving these cases than we realize? I know the Austin Police Department's Cold Case Unit does what they can, but it seems like public awareness can sometimes lead to breakthroughs, especially with how people share information on social media these days. Maybe if there was a way to boost visibility for cases like Duke's, it could bring some new insights or leads. Has anyone seen any successful campaigns or community efforts that have worked for other cold cases? Would love to hear your thoughts or any ideas on how we can bring more light to Charles Duke's case. It's been too long with no answers.

Has anyone here followed the Charles Robert Duke case out of Austin? I was looking into it recently and noticed that, despite being on missing person databases like NamUs and the Texas DPS, there haven't been any significant updates in years. It's so troubling how these cases can just go cold with time. I read that the Austin Police’s Cold Case Unit uses some pretty advanced forensic techniques these days. Does anyone know why Duke's case hasn't benefited from these methods yet? It makes me wonder if there are specific challenges that have kept his case from advancing, or if it's just a matter of resources and priorities. I hope keeping his story alive might bring some new leads. Thoughts or insights, anyone?

Has anyone heard about the case of Charles Robert Duke from Austin? It's been over a decade since he disappeared, and I'm surprised that there hasn't been any significant breakthrough in his case. I was doing some research on long-term missing person cases in Texas and stumbled upon his info. What's curious to me is how the Cold Case Unit hasn't made any headway with advanced forensics or inter-agency collaboration. I wonder if they ever received any credible tips from the public that might have been overlooked, or if media coverage was too scarce when he first went missing. For cases like his, public awareness can make a huge difference. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on what might help reignite interest or bring new leads to the surface.
