I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragic loss of Dominick Skinner. I've lived near East Princess Street for a while, and it's always been a relatively quiet area. It's so unsettling to hear about gunfire erupting in broad daylight. I can only imagine the fear and confusion the neighbors must have felt. It's distressing to think about how quickly a disagreement can escalate into something so final and tragic.
I didn't know Dominick personally, but from what folks have been saying, he was a well-liked person in the community, always with a smile and a kind word. It's gut-wrenching to think of his family having to deal with such a brutal loss. My heart goes out to them, and I sincerely hope they find some form of justice and peace as this case unfolds.
On a broader note, the increased violence in our city is so concerning. I hope everyone in the community can come together to support each other and work towards preventing future tragedies. Stay safe, everyone.
I can't imagine what Dominick's family is going through right now. Losing someone you love is always difficult, but to have it happen in such a violent way is unimaginable. It makes me wonder about the influence of violence in our communities and how it's affecting people's decisions. It seems like Dominick and Romanus knew each other, which just adds to the tragedy. How do two people who know each other end up in such a destructive encounter? It's unsettling to think about these things happening on your doorstep, and I hope that this prompts some deeper conversations about community safety and support. Sending love and strength to everyone who's been touched by this tragedy.
