It's devastating to consider the impact this tragedy has had on the community, especially knowing that little Logan and his sister were so young and had their whole lives ahead of them. I've been following the discussions and noticed many people are trying to understand what led to these terrible events. One thing that keeps haunting me is the family's history. It seems like the Shippy family experienced so much pain and loss over the years, from the previous tragedy involving their grandparents to the suicide of Rodney’s wife. The psychological toll must have been incredibly heavy, but it's hard to fathom why this situation spiraled into such a dark outcome. Is there any information about whether Rodney was receiving any mental health support? It seems like the series of tragedies really isolated them, and perhaps they didn’t feel they had anywhere to turn for help. I feel for the friends, relatives, and neighbors who might be questioning if anything could have been done to prevent this, and my heart goes out to anyone affected by this unimaginable loss.
