I've been following cold cases in New Hampshire for a while, and Henry Travers' murder at the Fireside Motel has always stood out to me as one of the most baffling. What strikes me about this case is the location of the crime. The motel along Route 28 was a relatively busy spot, even at night. It makes you wonder how someone could have committed such a violent act without being noticed or leaving behind any clear evidence. The lack of solid witnesses baffles me. I often think about how minute details or memories from quiet witnesses can sometimes hold the key to solving these mysteries. With modern forensic technology and databases for revisiting past cases, there's still hope that something new might come to light. My heart goes out to the Travers family and the community of Salem, who have spent decades without answers. It's a stark reminder that even cold cases have people behind them who deserve justice and closure. If anyone out there knows anything, even the smallest detail could be what finally brings peace to this lingering mystery.
