I can't stop thinking about those neighbors who witnessed the entire scene unfold in their own front yard. I mean, can you imagine the horror of watching a simple argument between two people you might bump into at the grocery store escalate to such a violent end right before your eyes? It’s surreal to think that in the span of a normal afternoon, everything could change in an instant. My heart goes out to them—they’ll carry the weight of that day’s images and sounds for a long time. It's also unsettling how the suspect was reportedly a neighbor, someone presumably familiar with the area and its residents. It adds an extra layer of unease. I really hope those who were close to Edwin have the support they need right now. I can't imagine how tough it must be to process losing someone in such a senseless way. The community’s response and support surely play a big role in helping them navigate through this difficult time.

I've been thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the neighborhood. It's incredibly unsettling to imagine something like this happening just outside your door. The neighborhood on SW 45th Street must feel so different now. I can't help but wonder how everyone is coping after witnessing such a traumatic event unfold right in front of them. Does anyone know if there will be any community gatherings or support meetings? It seems important for neighbors to come together, not just to remember Edwin but to help each other process the fear and confusion that come with such violence close to home. It sounds like this block was close-knit, and losing someone you know, especially through such violence, can be devastating. Sending prayers to Edwin's family and the whole neighborhood.
