Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Kevin Jennings and just wanted to share some thoughts after the recent developments. It's so unsettling to think that everyday places like East 188th Street can suddenly become scenes of such violence. Kevin was just sitting on his walker, probably enjoying a typical evening, and then everything changed in an instant. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are living with this incredible loss. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they're experiencing. Knowing that the NYPD has made an arrest brings a little relief, but I know it won't bring Kevin back or ease the trauma for the woman who was also injured. I'm curious about the community's response in Fordham Heights. Have any locals noticed changes in neighborhood dynamics or safety measures since this terrible incident? It's times like these when a community's strength and resilience really shine through, and I hope they find peace and healing moving forward. Hoping for justice and sending thoughts to all affected by this senseless tragedy.
