I just can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must have on the community, especially for Melinda's close friends and family. I read that she was trying to turn her life around and seemed to be on a positive path. It's hard to wrap my head around how anyone, let alone her own son, could be involved in something so devastating. I really feel for the neighbors who are absorbing this shock as well; it's got to be distressing to know something so horrible happened so close to home. If anyone has updates on the investigation or how the community is coming together to support each other during this time, please share. Every bit of information might help us understand how such a tragic situation came to be.
