I’ve been following the tragic events surrounding the Archuleta family and can't help but think about young Drake, who’s now facing an unbelievably tough road ahead. To not only lose a sister and father in such a shocking way but also have his mother critically injured is unimaginable for a 13-year-old. I’ve read that the Fairview community has been incredibly supportive in the aftermath, setting up fundraisers to help Drake and his mother, Laura, as they recover. It gives a glimmer of hope to see such unity and compassion from their neighbors. The details surrounding what happened are still deeply unsettling. Thinking about how the gunfire erupted inside their home just makes me wonder what those moments were like for Drake. I genuinely hope he's surrounded by warmth and love from extended family, friends, and everyone pulling together in Fairview. With the memorial service for Violet approaching, I know it’s going to be another wave of emotion for the community. Let’s keep them all in our thoughts and hope for strength in the challenging days ahead.
