Has anyone looked into the possibility of Jack Hemby's car being at the Inn of the Mountain Gods? It's been bugging me how his 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit ended up there. Seems like an odd place to abandon a car unless he meant to meet someone or was in some sort of distress. Considering it was found almost a month after he vanished, did anyone check if there was security footage at the parking garage? Given the time that passed, maybe it was overlooked, or the tape looped over itself by then. It’s a long shot, but maybe it could offer some insights or jog someone's memory about seeing him or his car around that time. Anyone with local knowledge have any thoughts about the area?
Does anyone else find it odd that Jack Hemby's car was found at the Inn of the Mountain Gods, but there’s no clear indication of how he got there? Given his medical condition, it’s hard to imagine him walking a great distance, especially in such a remote area. The parking garage isn’t exactly a place where you leave a car and just vanish without a trace. Did he receive help—or worse, was someone else involved? There’s a lot that’s unclear about his last known movements, and it feels like a crucial piece is missing. What are your thoughts about how his car ended up there?
Hey everyone, I’ve been following the disappearance of Jack Hemby for a while, and something has always intrigued me about the location where his car was found. The parking garage at the Inn of the Mountain Gods seems like a pretty conspicuous place to leave a car, especially considering how busy a resort area can be. I mean, why there of all places? Was this a spot that Jack and his girlfriend frequented, or is there something else about this location that might have had significance to him?
Given that this area is also part of the Mescalero Apache Reservation, I wonder if anyone has any insights into whether there were any notable events or gatherings happening around that time in 2011. It just seems odd to me that Jack would have made it there with his medical condition unless he had plans or was meeting someone. Does anyone have any local knowledge or theories about why his car might have ended up there? It seems like such a public place for a car to be stashed if foul play was involved. Let me know what you all think!
