I've been following the Anita Crandall case, and it's so distressing to think about how the whole thing unfolded. I can't even imagine what her family is going through right now. In a small town like Grafton, these kinds of incidents just send shockwaves through the entire community. One thing I'm really reflecting on is the fact that Joshua Fowler was known to have altercations at home, yet there were never any arrests in the previous incidents the police responded to. It makes me wonder if more could have been done to prevent this tragedy. I know hindsight is 20/20, but it's just so frustrating to think about the signs that might have been missed or dismissed. For Anita's family, having these unanswered questions must be more than they can bear right now. It's a reminder of the importance of taking domestic disputes seriously before they escalate. Sending strength to everyone touched by this nightmare.
