Has anyone else been struck by the terrifying nature of how quickly things escalated for Chaneil Ramsay on that tragic day? It’s chilling to think that a peaceful afternoon walk with her daughter could be shattered so drastically. Knowing that someone can go from making threats, like shattering a car window, to carrying out such a brutal act in such a short time span is incredibly unsettling. My heart goes out to Chaneil’s daughter. She not only survived such a horrific event but also lost her mother while her life was on the line. The courage it must have taken for Chaneil to try and protect her daughter is unthinkable. I hope the family finds support and comfort in one another and from the community during this devastating time. It's crucial for the justice system to ensure that situations like these are taken seriously to prevent such tragedies from happening in the future.
