Does anyone else feel for Derek's family and friends right now? I'm just thinking about how devastating it must be for them, especially knowing how things unfolded. It's difficult to come to terms with a loved one dying in such a tragic and sudden way, let alone the legal outcome not bringing any charges. I also wonder about how all parties involved are coping with the aftermath now that the case is officially closed. I can't imagine the emotional toll this must take on everyone who knew him. It's just one of those cases that leaves you with so many questions about what led up to that moment. My heart goes out to everyone who is affected by this.
