Has anyone else been thinking about the impact this tragedy must have had on Lucas's friends and classmates at Buena Regional High School? Being just 17, Lucas clearly had a bright future ahead and was a junior who must have been looking forward to his senior year, prom, graduation, and all those milestones most teens get to experience. I can't even imagine what it must feel like for his friends to suddenly face such a loss, and in such a violent way. From everything I’ve read, Lucas was not just an honor student but also a kind-hearted guy who balanced his school life with spending time with friends and family. It's hard for young people to process something so unexpected, and I worry about how his classmates are coping. If anyone is local, is the school offering counseling or support for the students? It feels like the whole community has been affected by this, and I hope they have ways to support each other through such a painful time.
