Did anyone else hear about the gathering held in Carlsbad to honor Patricia and Nathan? I couldn't attend, but friends of mine who were there said it really helped the community come together during such a tough time. It was so moving to hear how Patricia was celebrated not just as a figure in the oilfield industry, but as someone who truly cared about the people around her. Her contributions to both her work and community were enormous.
It feels strange to think that the investigation hasn't led to any suspects being named yet. I'm hoping that whoever is responsible is brought to justice soon. It must be incredibly difficult for both families to deal with so much uncertainty on top of their loss. Sending thoughts to Patricia and Nathan’s loved ones in hopes they find some comfort in the love and support surrounding them.
I’ve been following Patricia and Nathan’s case closely, and something that keeps coming up in my mind is the location of the incident. Given Patricia's significant ties to the oilfield community and the fact that this occurred at a business they ran, I can't help but wonder about the business dynamics. It seems like a place where everyone knew each other well, so how did this go unnoticed until morning?
I know some people who worked with Pecos River Oilfield Services; they always spoke highly of Patricia and Nathan. In smaller communities like these, sometimes business issues can become personal, or vice versa. I just hope the investigators can untangle this web.
For those involved, this has to be a difficult time. My deepest condolences to Patricia and Nathan’s families and friends. It's a huge loss of two well-respected community members. Stay strong, Carlsbad. ?
