I keep coming back to the details about David's phone being found 835 yards away from where his body was discovered. It raises so many questions for me about the sequence of events that led up to this tragic outcome. Did David try to run? Was he trying to call for help? Was there some kind of struggle that separated him from his phone? My heart goes out to his family and friends as they grapple with the senselessness of losing someone they care deeply about. The presence of the black car with the two men and the witness reports help piece things together, but they also amplify the haunting nature of this event in such a vulnerable, open area. I hope the investigation uncovers the truth, as David and his loved ones deserve closure.
