Has anyone been following the Ian Burnet case closely? I recently came across something that really piqued my curiosity. I read that Ian left his iPhone in the apartment but took his MetroCard. Is it possible he had a last-minute change of plans and intended to explore NYC one last time? It just seems odd to me that he’d leave without such an essential item, considering how responsible he was known to be. I can't imagine not using his MetroCard if he had taken it with him, so could he have gone somewhere reachable by foot, like a park or a local spot he liked visiting? It seems really puzzling, right? Would love to hear anyone's thoughts on this or if anyone has similar theories.

Has anyone else noticed the strange details about Ian Burnet leaving behind his iPhone? In today’s world, it's unusual for anyone to go anywhere without their phone, especially someone who's younger like Ian. I keep thinking there might have been something important on it that he didn't want anyone to see. He took his ID and MetroCard, so it seems he had plans. I wonder if he left the phone intentionally, maybe to avoid being tracked, or if there’s another explanation. Considering he had plans to return home just hours before he vanished, it’s just puzzling. Just curious if others have thoughts about what might have been going on with that detail.

I've been following Ian Burnet's case since early on and something that's always intrigued me is the text message he sent to his roommate. If Ian was planning to return home, why would he leave his phone, which is something you'd expect him to have if he was traveling back? It feels odd that he'd make arrangements to head home and then suddenly vanish, with no activity on his cards or MetroCard since. This makes me wonder if something unforeseen happened between that last message and when he was supposed to leave. Maybe there’s a clue in who he spoke to last or something in those final communications? I hope that authorities are continuing to explore any possible leads related to his digital footprint. Has anyone heard about any updates on this? Maybe new ways of retrieving deleted data or contacts that were missed back then?
