I can't stop thinking about how senseless this all is. Brandon Haywood didn’t deserve to have his life ended like this. It's so difficult to wrap my head around the fact that an argument over a past relationship could escalate to such violence. It's just tragic. I keep wondering how Brandon’s family and friends are holding up? Losing someone in such a sudden, violent manner must be beyond devastating.
I hope there’s some semblance of peace or justice for those who loved him as this case moves forward. Does anyone know if there’s a community gathering or memorial planned in his honor? It might be a good way for those who knew him—or even those of us who didn’t—to remember Brandon and support his loved ones through this awful time. It’s clear that Brandon meant a lot to many people, and his story isn’t something that should fade away.
