I’ve been reading up on Bobby Nelson’s case, and something that stands out to me is the location where his remains were found. From what I’ve gathered, Washington County isn't too far from Mineral Point, right? It makes me wonder if whoever was involved thought they were being smart by not taking him too far from where he went missing. It almost feels like someone familiar with the area could have been involved. Also, how does private property factor into this? Did the owners ever report anything suspicious? Hoping the investigation digs deeper into local connections... anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
Has anyone else come across information or theories about the trailer Bobby went to on January 5? I remember reading bits and pieces about that place, but details are scattered and vague. Considering his condition, it seems risky for him to go alone. Does anyone know if there were reports about activity in the area around that time, or if there were people there who might have seen him? It's frustrating how little information there is about his actions after he arrived. If anyone has stumbled upon old posts or articles that shed light on this part of the case, please share. It might help connect the dots for those of us looking to piece together what happened after he left for Mineral Point.
Has anyone else been struck by how little discussion there seems to be about Bobby Nelson's medical conditions in relation to his disappearance? With his short-term memory loss and being legally blind, it seems like someone could have taken advantage of him quite easily. Especially considering he was in an unfamiliar place, trying to sort out a rather personal situation with his wife's belongings. Could these vulnerabilities have played a role in his disappearance, or even in what eventually happened to him? It just seems like an angle worth exploring further. Thoughts?
