I was looking through some old maps of Asheville online, trying to get a better understanding of the areas Joseph was last seen in. It seems like such a beautiful place, full of trails and parks. Could he have just taken off to one of those remote areas? Perhaps it was for some solitude, not realizing how long he'd be gone? Of course, this is just speculation on my part, but I'm curious about whether any focused searches have been conducted in those natural spots just outside the city limits. Sometimes these places can be the calm refuge someone seeks when they're overwhelmed. Anyone familiar with the local terrain or has heard if this angle has already been looked into?
