Has anyone else been following the case of Mikel Hill? It's incredibly tough to wrap my head around the fact that this young life was cut short in such a violent manner. I just read that the police initially thought he was a man in his early 20s, which might say something about the chaos and confusion at the scene that night. Can anyone here shed light on why there seems to be such a delay in clarifying the details of what happened? It seems like the evidence gathering took quite a while—into the early morning—which makes me wonder if they found anything substantial at all. It's troubling when witness information is so sparse, but surely someone knows something. Have there been more cases in that area with a similar pattern? It's such a shame for the community to lose someone so young and promising without clear answers.
