I have been looking into this case as well as several other missing people in Schuylkill County. There is something dark within this county. I talked with this one person about a year ago. She told me what she was told happened to James. And that he was not alive anymore. She even showed me the house where she claims he was held and then eventually killed in. The police were made aware of this information. But that isnt going to help much at all. From what I was told, not only by this woman but by a few other people as well.... there are a few Pottsville police officers as well as Schuylkill Haven Police officers that are involved in what happened to James. I will be meeting up with that woman again tomorrow to discuss these details a little more thoroughly. I will update with any new information as it becomes available to me. But if the police are truly involved in this.... this is going to get really sketchy and real quick. But it could be why there have been no leads in this case.

I've been digging into the case of James Harig and learned something that makes the search even more complicated. The area where he disappeared, Sharp Mountain, is apparently riddled with old mine shafts. Does anyone know if there were any specific mines that search teams focused on, or were they all deemed too dangerous? It seems like a daunting task to search those areas safely. It's puzzling that despite getting a shirt believed to be his, there's been no other trace. With the rugged terrain and all these abandoned mines, I’m wondering if it’s even possible to thoroughly search all of them. Thoughts?
