I'm so devastated to hear about the tragic passing of Anthony Glen Owens Jr. My heart goes out to his entire family, especially his children, during this incredibly difficult time. I grew up in Jackson and remember Mama Tu-Tu and her kin being central to the community. People genuinely loved Anthony for his humor and warmth. The latest news about six search warrants being executed is the first bit of hope I've felt that there might be some answers coming. It’s so frustrating that with so much taken, we still don’t know who’s responsible. The Sheriff's Office is clearly working hard, but it's tough not knowing specific details. I really hope the community can come together to bring forward any info that may help close this case. Let’s keep supporting Anthony’s family any way we can. If anyone finds more ways to help them financially or through services, please share. They need us now more than ever, and it's essential we stand by them until justice is served.
