I’ve been thinking a lot about the 911 calls that started everything. Can you imagine the terror Tiffiney’s family and friends must have felt, knowing something awful was happening but being so powerless to stop it? The way those calls seemed to escalate and then just cut off gives me chills. It's like there was this brief, terrifying moment of chaos and desperation before the tragedy fully unfolded. I really hope the dispatchers were able to support those callers in some way because it must have been overwhelming. My heart goes out to those who heard those calls and the dispatcher who had to handle it, let alone everyone actually there. In times like these, it reminds me how crucial our 911 operators are. Whenever more details come out, I just hope we learn something that helps prevent future tragedies like this.
