I can’t stop thinking about how Kenneth’s life was just beginning. Moving to a new city can be such an exciting time full of new experiences and opportunities. His family had only recently settled in New Orleans, and he was already making strides as an honor student. It’s devastating that his future was stolen from him so senselessly. The neighborhood’s concerns about that property seem to have been ongoing, yet nothing was done to prevent this tragedy. It's just infuriating to think that community warnings weren't heeded. How many more incidents do we need before authorities take action? Something has to change, and I hope Kenneth's story inspires the necessary steps to prevent another family from experiencing such a loss. Sending love and strength to Kenneth’s family and hoping the community can come together for change.

Did anyone else catch the home security footage from that night? It’s so chilling to see those kids just hanging out one moment, almost carefree, then suddenly everything changes. It makes me wonder what kind of fear and panic they must have felt in those last moments. My heart goes out to Kenneth's family, especially his brother, who was with him and had to experience such trauma firsthand. It's been mentioned that that spot has had its share of late-night issues, and it’s so frustrating to think about how these gatherings go unchecked sometimes. I can't help but feel there needs to be a more proactive approach from the community and law enforcement to tackle this before it happens again. We can't keep losing young lives like Kenneth's. I really hope someone out there knows something and comes forward because his family deserves answers – they deserve to know why it happened and for justice to be served.
