Has anyone else been following the Amber Allen case? The part that's been really haunting me is that there were three young children in the house when it all happened. It breaks my heart to think about how they might have witnessed something so traumatic at such a young age. Growing up without their parents now, that's got to be unimaginably difficult. I just hope their extended family and the child-protection officials can give them the love and support they need during this incredibly difficult time. It would be great if the community could find ways to rally around these kids, perhaps even setting up some kind of fund or support network to help them through the years ahead. They’ve already been through so much, and any bit of stability we can offer them might make a difference.
