Hey everyone,
I'm reading about Theodate E. Shiner's case, and something that really sticks with me is the method of entry the perpetrator used. It seems so bold and reckless to force entry by cutting the screen and breaking a window. This wasn't subtle or quiet. I wonder if anyone heard anything during that time frame, neighbors or passersby? It seems like someone might have noticed unusual sounds, especially in a quiet residential area. Theodate was living alone, and it's unnerving to think about how vulnerable that made her. My thoughts go out to her family and anyone who cared about her. I hope there are still people looking into this, as cases like hers deserve answers, no matter how much time has passed. If anyone heard anything or saw something back then, I really hope they come forward. It's never too late to speak up and possibly help bring closure.
It's horrifying to think about what Theodate must have gone through in those final moments. Reading about the screen being cut and window glass broken makes me wonder if any neighbors heard or saw anything suspicious. I hope someone out there remembers an odd noise or saw something unusual during that time period. Being 75 and living alone shouldn't make someone a target. It’s these details, like her mail left unchecked, that provide clues into the timeline of her death. My heart goes out to anyone who knew her. Let's keep sharing any information, however small it might seem, to help get justice for Theodate.
It's so disturbing to think about how vulnerable Theodate E. Shiner was in her own home. I can't stop wondering about the situation with the windows. Why the east side, and not a door or another window? It makes me think that whoever did this might have known her house layout well enough to choose that specific entry point. It’s terrifying to think that someone could have been watching her or had been near her house before.
My heart goes out to her family and friends. She was living her life quietly, just like any of us would want to in our later years, and to have her life taken so callously is just unimaginable. It's been so many years, but I hope someone remembers something, no matter how small, that could provide some answers. Anyone with a piece of info should really consider coming forward; 702-828-3521 is the number to call. Let's help bring some closure to this dark chapter.
