I was deeply saddened to read about Lauren Michele Lotterer in the records of gun violence victims for 2025. It’s truly disheartening to see another life cut short, especially when there are still no answers or justice for her and her family. I can’t even imagine the pain and frustration her loved ones must feel, not knowing who took her from them. What really strikes me is how this story has almost become just another headline, buried in statistics. We talk about the numbers, but each name on that list represents someone who mattered to their community, who had dreams and a future. I hope that by discussing Lauren’s case and keeping her memory alive, we can help drive the conversation toward meaningful changes and solutions to reduce gun violence. It’s important for us to remember Lauren not only as a victim but as a cherished person who was unjustly taken away. If anyone has more updates or information about Lauren or if there are initiatives in Baltimore to support victims’ families, please share. Her family deserves closure and support from all of us.
