I can't stop thinking about the lack of detail available regarding Johnny Collins' tragic death. It's deeply troubling that we don’t have any concrete updates about what happened to him on July 1st, 2025. I honestly can’t imagine how his family and friends must be feeling, trying to find closure with so little information.
I feel like every victim deserves justice and that starts with us knowing the truth about what took place. Is there anyone from Detroit who can share more about the community’s response to this incident? Have there been any vigils or public gatherings in Johnny's memory? Perhaps that might spur more community discussion and, hopefully, bring forward any witnesses or leads that haven’t been shared with authorities yet.
It’s so important that we continue to keep Johnny’s case in the discussions. When communities keep talking, it can sometimes spark movement—even if it’s small steps toward answers. Sending love and strength to those who knew him during this difficult time.
Has anyone else been following the case of Johnny Collins? It's unsettling how little information is available about what happened to him. I've been skimming through different forums and news sites, but it seems like the details are sparse. Given that he was included in the National Gun Violence Memorial, there's no doubt it was a tragedy tied to gun violence, but why isn't there more being reported by the local media? It's frustrating and sad not only for us hoping for explanations but especially for his family, who must be experiencing a tremendous sense of uncertainty.
