Hey everyone, I've been following Emerson Hernandez Galeano's case, and something about it just sticks with me. With so many people trying to cross the border, it's insane to think about how many stories like his might be out there, untold and incomplete. The border area can be such a treacherous place, and Emerson disappearing after falling behind the group makes me wonder how many might've faced similar fates. Does anyone know if volunteers or local search teams monitored that area back then? Or even now? It seems vital to have more eyes on the ground for cases like Emerson's. It'd be great if we could bring more attention to places where people might get lost, arguably like where Emerson did. Maybe someone unknowingly saw or heard something back in 2012 that could still help.
