I've been following the Latravion Stallworth case, and it's such a painful reminder of how senseless violence can rip through a community. One part that's really stuck with me is the role of the community in breaking the case. It's not every day you see such a strong response from local residents, stepping up to provide those crucial tips to the police. I think it shows just how much Latravion, his family, and the affected community mattered to so many people. It’s still so unsettling to think about how this all happened on a regular night out on Keyser Avenue—an area that many probably felt safe in until this tragedy. My heart goes out to everyone involved. I hope the community continues to rally together to prevent anything like this from happening again.
