I've been following Pierre Lavelle Moore's tragic case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the sheer brazenness of the shooters. It's disturbing to think this attack happened so close to a well-frequented area like UIC's athletic fields. There must have been people around, maybe even a few students taking late walks or heading home from late-night study sessions. The way the attackers just sped off towards the expressway is chilling. Gratitude to the detectives for working hard on this, and hoping for some positive news soon for Pierre's family and friends. They deserve answers and justice.
