I can't get Janessa's story out of my mind, especially since it happened on Mother’s Day. It adds an extra layer of pain and grief, not only for her family losing her young life but on a day meant to honor and cherish loved ones. The fact that she had the strength to call the police herself is a testament to her resilience, even in those unimaginably terrifying moments. It’s beyond frustrating that it's been some time now, and still no suspects have been identified or arrests made. This was a busy area—how is this possible? I truly hope that anyone who saw anything comes forward, as her family deserves justice and peace. It’s haunting to think the person responsible is still out there amidst ongoing city violence. My thoughts are with Janessa’s family, hoping they find some sense of comfort amidst this tragedy.
