It's truly difficult to believe how long Jeannie's case has been unsolved. Thinking about how a young girl went missing after being last seen at the Circus-Circus Hotel and then later found in such a tragic state just wrenches at the soul. The fact that her story is still wrapped up in mystery 44 years later is deeply troubling. I've been following the development of cold cases around Reno, and it's good to see renewed attention on these heartbreaking cases. It's possible someone in the area at the time remembers seeing something—they just might not realize its importance. Given that Charles Gary Sullivan has been connected to Julia Woodward's case, I wonder if there could be any forthcoming revelations linking him more directly to Jeannie. It’s hard to imagine the pain her family has endured all these years without closure. Let's hope the investigators' persistence pays off and they finally get the answers they deserve. If anyone has old information, no matter how small it seems—please come forward. Every bit could be crucial.

The discovery of Jeannie Smith's remains is something I often think about, especially considering how long her family has been waiting for answers. It's absolutely distressing that she disappeared from a busy place like Circus-Circus and ended up in such a tragic situation. I can't even begin to imagine the sorrow her loved ones have endured over the years, knowing she's gone but having so few details about what happened. When I heard about Charles Gary Sullivan's arrest in relation to Julia Woodward's case, my mind immediately jumped to Jeannie. It makes me wonder, is he somehow connected to her murder, too? I hope with the advances in forensic technology today, there's still a chance to uncover new leads and finally bring closure to her family. If anyone knows more about efforts being made now, I'd love to hear about it. It's been far too long, and Jeannie deserves justice.
